Myakka Canopy Walkway and Observation Tower

Florida nature. If you love wildlife and wide-open beauty, this park is a must-visit.

The birdwatching alone is incredible – blue herons, cranes, spoonbills, and so many other species. And yes… alligators everywhere (from a safe distance, of course!), which somehow makes the experience even more awe-inspiring.

Absolute favorite features is the canopy walk. You climb up above the treetops and look down over the forest.

Ybor City Historic District

The lively Ybor City Historic District is listed in the National Register of Historic Places for its Latin and cigar manufacturing heritage showcased at Ybor City Museum State Park. Its charming streets are filled with restaurants, bars, and cafes serving Cuban coffee and sandwiches.
